The KAA is a self contained mechanical advantage system for tensioning lines or lifting people during rescues. In addition, as the KAA is certified to EN 354, it can be used for workplace stabilization, as a restraint system (open/closed), and for controlled lowering. Its strap-based construction makes it the most compact and lightweight system on the market. Depending on the orientation, it offers a 4:1 or 5:1 lifting ratio with an efficiency of 91%.
