Forged Nut Eye bolts are the backbone of ropes challenge course and zip line construction. Zip line and other cables are terminated to the eye bolt around a thimble to prevent cable deformation at the turn back. Eye bolts should always be backed up by wrapping a separate piece of cable around whatever the bolt is going through. Eye bolts have been known to have manufacturing defects that cannot be detected by visual inspection. Our Eye Bolt nuts are drop forged steel, machine threaded, heat treated after forging. Eye Bolt nuts are threaded National Course before galvanizing.
