The nifty Futura Hand Ascender is set to revolutionize the ascension market. It is extremely small though easy to use, weighs only 125g, and comes with two different sized handles for ergonomic customization. Can be used with ropes between 8 and 12.7mm. Well suited for confined space access.

You can push them up to the knot real tight and still open them which is definitively not possible with Petzl.  I tested this quite a lot and they seem to work better in muddy conditions than I thought. Easier on the wallet also. However there is no protection for the hands when you are climbing up a rock face. Great for Open Caves, emergency kits, and compact lock-off devices. This looks like the smallest acsending system available with foot, hand, and chest ascenders.
